Urban Jungle Bloggers Plant Shelfie 2.0

Hej!

Hej!

The time flies, another month is gone. But i can pretend, the time is going to be faster in a few weeks when Christmastime begin.
So the monthly topic of the Urban Jungle Bloggers is here, i'm always happy to see so many green homes and such great stylings! I have to fight for every single plant here ("Do we need more plants?! Everything is full of them ...") but the best argument is, that they clean the air. Last but not least i smuggling some green fellows into the flat. I can say about myself: i'm a (plant)hoarder. I collect so many different things, if i had the chance, i would fill 10 houses of great stuff i like. I'm under controll, if it's about ceramics, books, cookingstuff. But not if plants are involved, i can by a mass of plants, if i like them. Not so much plants for vases, more that kind of plants forever. Even if i reach the mail from Judith and Igor i thought about, what can i do this month? The first step was to walk through a gardencenter and watching, what kind of flowers are great and to stroll through green heaven. I prefer ferns, asparagus, sanseverias, aralias and  monsteras, but i also like those tiny succulents you'll find on the pictures below.
So what does a shelf mean? A shelf is a part of yourself, it shows your hobbys, your friends, symbols of friendship and love. They collect so many things and they are somehow your buisness card. If i'll find a lot of books i know that the owner likes to read, if i'll find travelphotos i know he likes to travel a lot and that he's interested in different cultures.
Another option is to show your plant collection and now i want to show mine (plus the wonderful alcohol collection, but until we don't have a barchart here we need a place to put the bottles with gin and co. And no, i'm not an alcoholic, my life is funny enough ;D ) In the drawer above all that bottles i have my secret coffee and teacollection, but both collections definitely need more space. Someday i'll buy an extra drawer.
So now talking about plants: I love my ficus since he was a little twig, he also cleans the air, yeah! I didn't noticed the name of the plant in the big vintage pot ... it was really nice and i hope that it grows out of the pot and down to the floor. The small succulent next to the cookie monster (don't eat my plants!!) fits perfectly in the pot i got a year ago from Igor - a prize i won for the plantshelfie competition.
